About Our Organization

Circle F Horse Rescue is a registered charitable organisation established in 1997. Our founder believed that all horses should be given the gift of freedom – freedom from neglect and abuse, as well as the freedom to have a good home.

We are currently based in Abbotsford, British Columbia on a 10-acre land. Our facilities include pastures, a large all-weather paddock, riding ring, and barn where the horses can be stalled at night or during bad weather.

Who We Are

We are governed by a board of directors, along with members and volunteers who are hands-on and involved in the care, decision-making, and future plans of the rescue.

Board of Directors

      •   Vice President: Elena
      • Treasurer: Celina
      • Secretary: Steve
    • Directors at Large: Alex, Brian, Gail, Heather, Jaci, Kelsey,  Shelagh

What We Do

Our programme consists of numerous teams set up with the horse’s care, and well-being in mind. Members and volunteers are involved in every aspect of the horse’s care ranging from volunteer coordination, feeding regimes establishment, health care, rehabilitation and conditioning of the horses, facility care, adoption coordination, fundraising, and a range of other administrative and office tasks.
